My Year of Prakash Raj

Some people spend a year
cooking Julia Child's recipes, or following all of the rules in the Bible, or reading books by people who spent a year doing something. My quest is to watch the 200-some films of South Indian character-actor-extraordinaire, Prakash Raj. (It'll probably take more than a year... and I'll post about some Prakash-less films here as well.)

Prakash Pix: Happy belated Birthday, Siddharth!

April 17 was also Siddharth's Birthday, so here's a belated (quick) post of some of my favorite moments of Prakash Raj and Siddharth on film:

Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana
The spicy food scene!

This is really a Srihari-Prakash moment, but I like how it frames Sid and Trisha.

Bommarillu
One of many scenes where Prakash Dad scolds Sid.

...and things are about to take a turn for the worse.
Nice body language in this scene, pleading Prakash, sullen Sid.

Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam

"This doesn't look like Mom's eggplant..."

Reunited and it feels so good...

Too bad the subtitles block the bottle of Johnny Walker's Black Label.
