With many more Prakash Raj films under my belt, I think Munna is one of the more interesting, maybe not "nuanced", but perhaps "fleshed out" Prakash Bad characters.dustdevil lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03564737263775943203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6470079940179750630.post-26278555305978967102011-07-09T00:38:07.182-06:002011-07-09T00:38:07.182-06:00Yes, this was an epic collection :) I only recentl...Yes, this was an epic collection :) I only recently watched Munna and like you I was a tad distracted by the straight hair at first. It was a bit Maheshian. But yes, of all Telugu film heros who have experimented with the straightening irons, Prabhas has my approval. And Prakash Raj is fab in all of these roles. Fantastic work on making so much of things and stuff sound succinct and memorable!TempleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6470079940179750630.post-90722591660359127222011-01-30T09:17:35.630-07:002011-01-30T09:17:35.630-07:00@Dolce Oh, believe me, doing the right up for Munn...@Dolce Oh, believe me, doing the right up for Munna was challenging. I also found myself mesmerized by Prabhas and his straight hair, so much so that I (occasionally) forgot to focus on PR.

This series did get me to thinking about how much actual screen time PR has in a film, so think I'm going to add that "PR Rating" somehow.dustdevil lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03564737263775943203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6470079940179750630.post-6280785770924095712011-01-30T08:25:48.296-07:002011-01-30T08:25:48.296-07:00Liz, this was definitely my favourite month too!!!...Liz, this was definitely my favourite month too!!! I like/love all the movies you watched in this one (er... ok... except for Bunny, but it did grow on me once I got a hold of the FF button and knew exactly which awful bits to skip)! That last fight is epic!
And I agree that Athadu is the better movie when compared to Pokiri. Maybe the only objection to PR's role in Athadu is that there isn't enough of him :(

Also, I really like how you analyze his roles so much more than I would think of doing, for example I wouldn't have thought about how more or less polished his character is in the two time periods in Munna. Maybe because every time I watch Munna I am mesmerized by how good Prabhas looks with straight hair? Regardless, thank you for performing this service for those of us more shallow and easily distracted :DDolce and Namakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403089235872528987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6470079940179750630.post-84660737182165279782011-01-29T23:49:07.923-07:002011-01-29T23:49:07.923-07:00Sorry that the formatting is crazy.
